A recently published study in the Journal of Hospital Infection from a team of researchers at Brigham Young University has found that alcohol-free hand sanitizers containing benzalkonium chloride (the active ingredient in Prefense hand sanitizer) are just as effective as alcohol-based hand sanitizers against one particular germ without the drawbacks.  Read the BYU press release, the news article from Fast Company, or click here for the study.  They all name names!
